  Never will I tolerate a resturant that attempts to be pretentious without the merit to warrant that.
  The food was good (besides dessert) but it was not anything spectacular to make me return.
  
  The service was atrocious, when I have to sit and wait for any kind of service while watching others come in after me and be served is ridiculous.
  
  I am typically patient, I understand if the resturant is busy and waiters need to tend to serval people at once but literally watching my waiter stand around doing nothing or have a banter with the staff is infuriating. Then the addition of his rude attituded made it an uncomfortable experience. I also made an effort to be polite and smile despite all this in hope that maybe it will brighten up his mood or actually be serviceable. But alas nope.
  Also the lovely lady in the front who apparently found it incomprehensible to smile or greet guests leaving.
  
  On top of that, I expected this resturant to be cleaner but was greeted with lamps on the table covered in dust, I'm paying for quality while barely reciving it.
  
  Do not recommend. It is upsetting when boisterous wine drunk men receive better service.

  Truthfully I can't review the restaurant proper, as I went to Oro for an event that wad served buffet style. But the place wad great, the staff was friendly, the setup was nice, and the food was great even though I arrived a bit late and had to choose from the last bits.

  Was at a large group (60 people) event here in the upper level space, which was very nice as is the main floor. Service was quite good. The menu was a prix fix chosen by the organizers so can't comment on the a la carte. App was a winter soup that was great, albeit a bit salty. My main was cod on a sautéed vegetables. The cod was cooked perfectly which I wasn't expecting given the size of our group and how many ordered cod. Vegetables were serviceable but nothing to write home about. The dessert was a chocolate torte that was delicious. The accompanying house made ice cream had a great flavour but was a bit grainy. Overall a good experience.
