Reviews about Elmwood Spa
- 4 / 5By Huda KhayyatI gave it 4/5 because I was having high expectation for the prices.
I was hesitant to go with the reviews, but I decided to try it out myself specially that I had a 20% off.
The atmosphere is cozy, everything is clean and staff are nice.
I love the privacy for the females (Sauna and whirlpool is inside the ladies changing room)
I booked the elmwood refresher to get the mini facial.
The place is generally quiet but with occasional customers loud voices.
I had my massage with Aida, she very nice and caring but she does misses lot of spot. I felt rushed and she was out of focus. I don't mind that but not for the price I have paid. I don't think I would recommend a massage therapy there.
Then I went for my mini facial, it was relaxing and the lady was lovely (I don't recall her name). I would give a full facial a try , with her next time.

Lester gave an amazing Swedish massage
The third level is the co-ed area: lounge, swimming pool, jacuzzi, and wet sauna. Kind of small but is still nice.
Inside the women's change room, there is a jacuzzi and a sauna as well. (Men's only had a sauna). Also had blow dryer, curling iron, flat iron, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, towels, robes, slippers, etc.
Lots of water and tea stations that are free to use.
For $350 we had two Swedish massages, 4 course dinner at Bangkok garden, and water therapies with taxes. Great deal :)January 22, 2017 - 5 / 5By Julia YalizerovWe love to go to Elmwood Spa for several reasons. First of all, it's a very nice spa with great service and amazing staff. What I love about it is that you can spend at least good 5 to 6 hours there. This is not the place where you come in, get a service performed that you paid for and leave. You can enjoy water therapies such as the use of the pool, Jacuzzi and steam room. You can spend time in comfortable couches resting or reading. The most amazing thing is that you can have a beautiful lunch right at the spa, right in your robes without having to dress up, get ready and go out to find something to eat. Definitely a selling feature for me.December 26, 2016
- 5 / 5By Mary-Anne FerreiraI have been coming here for quite a few years. It is an iconic establishment in Toronto. They history is fascinating. I enjoy my quarterly visits by myself of with friends. The staff always go the extra mile to make every experience outstanding. The pools, art work, music, treatment rooms and change rooms are all wonderful. I highly recommend The Elmwood with great confidence!November 02, 2016
- 1 / 5By Arminda De BarrosI had high expectations and unfortunately was disappointed. When you are spending close to $400 you of course want the best. My massage was okay, the massage therapist didn't seem to do a full body massage and missed a lot of important spots at times she would stop for a long pause.
I also got a facial it was good but not great. I really didn't like the creams and too much eye cream that made my eyes burn.
When I finally had lunch I was hoping for incredible meal because of the disappointment of my spa services. The chicken was dry and same with my flavours chocolate cake. But I really did enjoy my shrimp appetizer.
To top it all off when I went to enjoy one last dip in the water treatment in the ladies change room another lady was completely naked, which made me feel uncomfortable and her friend not sure if it was intentional but took off with my robe which had my phone and an really expensive watch inside. I had place my robe in a area where is was easy to get to and at the same time it was the only robe located near me and no other person placed there robe next to mine. When I mention to her naked friend that her friend took my robe she didn't seem to care and didn't know where she went. Luckily I found her and was able to get my belongings from my robe. If I was careless and left my robe away from me and wasn't paying attention, I wouldn't be upset but I was wasn't careless and was watching my belongings.
Oh I forgot when the representative at check out desk asked how was my day and I said "just okay" she didn't even bother to ask why wasn't it great.
I will never go back to elmwood Spa. I have been to less expensive spas and received much better service.November 01, 2016
