  I went there for the first time today - never going back! The store itself is nice, clean, and with great selection. However, I wanted to purchase 3 items that were on sale, but they scanned for full price. Instead of honouring the rule that incorrectly scanned items are free, the price checker person (older, long hair and beard) rudely said that "the sale price is no longer valid." Shouldn't they remove the price sticker then?? I wish I had more time to get the manager.. Plus, the cashier named Alec is completely incompetent. He scans things twice and doesn't apologize for his mistakes - doesn't even know how to take the extra item off the bill! Like I said, this was my first and last time in that store.

  Oddly expensive for a place with the name valu. A bit of a smaller store so selection could be better. Was not too busy and not too long of wait times

  Has pretty much everything you expect from a super market. But the prices don't reflect the quality of the location. needs a major renovation. compare to other super markets, seems more expensive.

  Always a pleasure to shop here. However the prices just keep on going up to the point of ridiculousness.
  
  Items for sale really not a sale because owner's jack up the regular price over and above what it was the week before.
  
  Like it when they have ice cream goodies for the kids at $2.99 a box.
