  It was delicious! The sushi selection especially at the end. Oh my god, to die for. Although it's not really a omakase as the chef doesn't really ask you what you like then make something taylored to your taste. It's a set menu =)

  I am quoting my friend who said 'That was quite the gastronomic experience. ' This was my second time eating at Kaji. Those meals were the most expensive meals I have ever had and the best meals I have ever had. The sushi is so fresh it will be awhile before you can go back to regular sushi. The service is incredible as they explain each dish in full detail before you eat it, so your mouth is watering constantly. I highly recommend sitting at the bar so you can watch the sushi chefs. The way they prepare the food is a dance and a science. We were there for 3.5 hours and enjoyed every single bite.

  Great sushi. One of the best places for sushi in Toronto. But the warm dishes that's served in the tasting menu is quite delicious too. Over the past 10+years I've been coming, they've always served excellent food coupled with great service; one exception was within the last year when they had a second sushi chef. Didn't enjoy the food or atmosphere. But he's gone now and things are back to normal.
  
  I noticed a change in warm dishes. Previously, they were all Japanese dishes. Now some of them are slightly influenced by classical French cuisine. (A duck dish with red wine(?) reduction sauce. Very nicely prepared.). Anyways, everything still taste great!

  One needs to be a connoisseur to really appreciate this place. Its authenticity cannot be rivaled in Toronto. Quality is unsurpassed. Presentation is laudable. If going to Japan in not on the menu, this place will certainly give you a taste of it. Price!
