  So so sad! The once wonderful Ideal on Nassau began a gentrification process last year, and now it is complete. Gone is all of the great character it once possessed. Replaced with laminate flooring and a dull common area that does away with the unique layout, vintage coffee roaster and quirky furniture. Why the owners needed to reduce this once bustling cafe to just another bare latte slinging box is a mystery. Less than ideal....

  One of the most laid-back spots to grab a coffee, in a quiet side street in Kensington market. Staff is friendly and coffee is tasty.
