  Had the Winterlicious menu, overall it tasted pretty good. The veal was better than the steak, while the desserts were pretty standard.

  My partner took me here for my birthday. He had read great reviews for the groupon so purchased this, but unfortunately our experience was not great.
  
  Food:
  The horderves were quite tasty although our server just abruptly put the plate down and gave us no indication of what we were eating.
  
  Appetizer:
  The Escargot was amazing..definitely get this!
  I ordered the Ceasar salad since I was looking for something crisp and refreshing, but I did not realize the salad is served warm, so the leaves come out a big soggy and most definitely not crisp. It's overall also quite salty.
  
  Mains:
  We both ordered the New York and were not impressed with quality of beef. Although the steak was cooked exactly as ordered a med rare, the meat was not tender nor super moist. For a steakhouse, we definitely expected better. The mashed potatoes were also not good, bland and course.
  
  Dessert:
  Carrot cake was very good
  
  Ambiance and service:
  My partner called ahead to request a nice table for my bday, but when we walked in the restaurant was empty, so the server did not at all seem to care about our reservation. We just seated ourselves. When the server brought out our dessert, both were on one plate with the words "happy bday" written in chocolate. He just plopped the plate down, no candle, not even a happy birthday. Overall, the whole experience and service were totally mediocre and completely forgettable.

  Really nice experience. Celebrating special event with 10 people. Great menu, service. Easily par with Toronto fine restaurants such as canoe, Auberge, Jump.
