  The atmosphere was good and we enjoyed the table-side Caesar salad. However, the 20 ounce, bone-in rare ribeye that I ordered couldn't have been more than 2/3 of an inch thick (if even) and came from the extreme chuck end. I can buy better cuts at Sobeys and was very disappointed. To top it off, when I asked whether there was something interesting on the wine list that I can't get at the LCBO the answer was no. This may be a classic restaurant, but the prices are far too high for the quality on offer. I would not go back.

  Over priced food for below average quality. I found the steak to be about a 6 out of 10 and the service was terrible. Only good thing about this place was the parking.

  The woman who rated it a two star basically called it sexist and of ignorant service.
  
  In my dozen visits to this landmark over the last dozen years, I can say that pleasant, thorough, punctual, and fair service is there for everyone who deserves it.
  
  I have seen the occasional drunk person in an office party group at Tom Jones get asked to calm it down a bit, but NO ONE has ever been ignored.
  
  This is a straight up, classic style, 10/10 steakhouse. One of only three left in Toronto.
  
  order something flambe. have some onion rings. have a big steak. I stay away from wine because I try to limit my bill, but my friends say the wine list is very very good.
  
  it's a great restaurant for special occasions.
