  A classic for any local in the St. Lawrence market area. Best known for an orgasmic home made apple pie. Love the owner of the place as well!! You always leave Mystic Muffin with a satisfied belly nd really good mood and vibe.

  A Toronto landmark. This place is vegan and vegetarian friendly, with extremely well-priced sandwiches (falafel sandwiches starting around 5 dollars). The most unique thing about this place is the owner and operator's unique ability to recognize you even if you've been gone for months. They are very friendly and chatty. There is a small seating area with a very nice lunchtime feel.

  A pleasant surprise in the downtown core!
  I went in here looking for a cheap meal, and that's not all I got. The owner asked me if I'd ever been there before and proceeded to walk me through the menu, even suggesting a sandwich I might like (Which I did. It was amazing.). He also threw in a piece of his signature apple cake on the house.
  While I ate, I overheard the owner greeting more customers. He knew most of them by name, remembered what's happening at their workplaces, and even recalled when one woman had visited the shop twenty years earlier as a young child! Mystic Muffin is celebrating their 24th anniversary next week, and it's not hard to tell how they became such a prominent Toronto establishment.
