  I was in the store at about 8:30 pm on Wed. May 10. While I was in the bakery section, I noticed a employee bagging bagels from the display case without using tongs or wearing gloves. The day old bagels were being bagged for sale as a package of 6. As he was bagging the bagels, I mentioned to him that he should be wearing gloves. His reply to me was," I washed my hands". I then replied "even if you washed your hands, you still need to wear gloves. I also work in a food service industry and we wear gloves." He replied "OK' and went over to the bread slicer to get a pair of gloves. The staff are not educated in proper food handling. They should take the Food Handler Course through the City of Toronto to be certified. Now I know not to buy any bakery products produced instore from there.

  Prices are a little high, but what do you expect from loblaws? I see comments a out rude staff. Only had the opposite experience personally. Decent selection. Great pharmacy staff. I like going here. Wish they would stop whoever keeps taking the entire stock of my yogurt, daily! Otherwise one of my regular stops

  The prices are fair enough .Its also wheelchair accessible

  Though some perceive Loblaws as a relatively expensive store, their product selection is very good and their PC Plus program offers substantial savings in the long run.
