  We went for a simple dinner before theater and loved the food; grilled octopus with white beans and grape tomatoes, SO flavourful. Then the C't Mang pizza (a 10) and the Quattro Stagioni pizzas. Both deliciously 'washed down' with a nice bottle of red...............we could have been in Italy in stead of Toronto! Highly recommended, we will go again.

  If you think you are cool and want to impress people, well this is just the place for you. Not to mention if you don't care about what you're shoving into your mouth, well this is perfect for that too. I went with a group of friends and not one of us enjoyed our plates. The portion sizes are not well thought out - not to mention the flavors that make up the pasta dishes - awful, awful, awful - I had the dinner special for $22, a fettuccine dish with truffle oil and mushrooms, very tiny portion - the flavors clashed and I swear I was eating buttery pasta with dried mushrooms on top... I wouldn't waste my money here again - we left disappointed and unsatisfied and we ended up going to Beaty's on King St. for a few pints... it was that bad.

  So last night was the 3rd (maybe 4th) time we ate as this culinary disaster. We live nearby and thus for some reasons we have, like moths to the flame, gone to this pretentious food-place (restaurant is too good a word for it) but finally last night was the last stand.
  
  I have been up half the night drinking water trying to overcome the huge amounts of salt they placed in all their food.
  
  The service has ranged from adequate to rude and incompetent. Last night the waiter was nice enough but forgot a side dish and and drink order.
  
  It is a pity because the room itself is nice, and I suspect this is the only reason anyone eats there.
  
  Avoid like the plague. You end up spending almost as much here as at Note Bene (well not quite but close) and there is absolutely no comparison.

  Food was ok not excellent and it doesnt justify the price. Overall we had a good time.
