  For my money it is the best steakhouse in town. There are many high end steak places and they all have excellent steak so it comes down to atmosphere and service. I like the old school feel of Hy's and their service is excellent every single time.

  First impressions: Hy's steakhouse takes customer service and presentation back to the heyday of classic cruise liner cuisine with tableside service and old school uniforms.
  
  Our server was very nice, patient, and the atmosphere was very welcoming and warm. As an experience, it definitely did not disappoint.
  
  As for the food, their cheese toast is simple, but irresistible. We ended up getting two orders.
  
  I won't pretend to know what a good steak is. I've only been to The Keg and a few other places that didn't specialize, but could turn out a decent aged steak. However, I can confidently say that Hy's makes a decent New York strip. And I'll definitely be returning.

  Very upscale eatery, tried the beef Wellington for the first time - can't say I am disappointed! A very traditional steakhouse overall, would recommend their soup!

  An upscale and executive place to enjoy after work. This place is popular for business people to dine in and have a relaxing time after work as this place is located in the financial district of Toronto. Drinks and food here are not extremely expensive however expect to spend $40 minimum for a drink and respectful meal. The atmosphere just reminds you that you are in a special place as it is dark and classic looking motive. Staff are friendly and are used to having "successful" people as the usual crowd.

  We stopped in here to get a gift card and they weren't even open yet, still they let us in kindly and helped us out. The interiors in here are absolutely amazing and regal. We will definitely come back for food.
