  FC continues to be one of the best bakeries in downtown Toronto.
  
  Its a great spot for breakfast -- you can have an egg sandwich or pastry, load up on coffee, and then pick up a loaf of bread or sweets on your way out.
  FC also carries an assortment of top quality imported Italian ingredients, great spot to pick up some hq olive oil.

  Everything they do is gorgeous and delicious... sandwiches, breads, sweets, coffee... all good. The staff and owner are really friendly.

  We were blown away by this lovely, modern Italian bakery in the daylight basement of a building on King Street. You can watch them baking through huge windows on one side of the room.
  
  Every item here is high, high quality. Impeccably made. A work of art. From the pizzas and sandwiches to the pastries and bread. Gorgeous.
  
  Excellent espresso as well. I was sad our trip was so short. We could get treats here a week straight and never eat the same thing...a great bakery adventure. I'm jealous, Toronto!

  I love coming here. Do yourself a favour - get some of the pastries and a drink all made in-house (incredibly flavourful and delicious, you can't go wrong) and sit by the little bar area to watch the baking artisans at work while the music plays. It's mesmerizing.
  If you don't have time for that, then get yourself a box of assorted little cookies, maybe one of those custard cup things or two. This place is just good quality all around.
