  As being someone who loves baking as a hobby, I was pretty disappointed with this Dufflet cake I received from my family for my graduation from university. The actual cake was good as was the icing between the cake layer, however the outer covering of the cake which was supposedly "vanilla buttercream" (most definitely was not- I know what this is supposed to taste like) tasted plain and there was too much of it.
  
  I will give this to them- the cake was very pretty to look at. But unfortunately this was ruined by a staff member at the shop who was unable to gauge how to fit the word "congratulations" on the cake and made it crooked and it looked like a 5 year old did it. We had never gotten a cake from here before and I was pretty saddened by this experience. Will be sticking to baking my own!

  Couldn't ask for a better wedding cake - it's was dubbed "divine" by our guests! We really appreciated that Duffelts worked with our budget and design. They didn't try to over sell us or any of the non-sense. They also didn't refuse to do out cake because it wasn't a five tier over-the-top cake. Thank you so much! We have already planned on ordering a mini version of our cake for our wedding anniversary.

  For my wedding cake Dufflets was a must! My parents got their wedding cake from Dufflets (Uptown) in 1984 and I wanted to continue that tradition. I didn't even bother looking into other bakeries and I really didn't need to. Dufflets was incredible, they took their time during the consultation (for both our engagement party and wedding cakes!), and the provided multiple options. They were flexible and worked with my overall vision of the cake. The consultant at Dufflets even went so far as to arrange the delivery herself with our venue, they made sure it would arrive in pristine condition and that I would have nothing to worry about. Upon seeing it for the first time I was floored! It was so gorgeous and detailed, not to mention delicious! I am not much into dessert but I had 2 slices that night!! Dufflets does an incredibly thorough job, their work is impeccably, and their staff is amazing. They delivered in 1984 and they continue to impress in 2017.

  Pretty much everything I've tried here has been good to great. I think there was only one thing, a tart I think, I didn't like. I really loved the sugar cookies and their cakes, especially the yule logs that they sell during Christmas/Winter Holidays. The food has been consistently good at all three locations. And now it's Ice cream sandwich season, yummy. That's the next thing I'm going to try.
