  Have been coming here for years, generally for breakfasts. Food is consistently good, and the service is fast and friendly, even when the restaurant is full. For a genuine "diner" experience, its great.

  The good bite is a civic treasure. The service draws back to an ear that was before my time. I have been meeting a friend here for lunch, or for coffee talks for several decades now. This tradition seems to come from the unforbidden pleasures and small joys that can fold up into everyday life.

  One of my favorites. Old school, and cozy with an unassuming charm. The prices seem to be steadily climbing but the quality is consistent. The staff are all wonderful from the front to the kitchen. It feels like family I have been going there for so many years. It is one of those quiet places I am happy to just have a coffee, a bite, and listen to old standards on the radio.
