  Those who visit Martins will discover that this is a neighbourhood gem that they will come back to time after time.
  
  Even though it is tucked away in a rather unspectacular location, the food here is great and has that authentic Portuguese vibe and taste to it.
  
  Reservations are highly recommended for weekends, and i do recommend coming here on a weekend because that is usually the time when they have the grilled octopus main dish - looks intimidating but I guarantee that it is quite tasty. The surf and turf dishes are quite nicely done too.
  
  For a spectacle, order the Portuguese sausage starter for a flame show :)

  Was here for a family function recently. Worst service I have experienced in a long time. Took over an hour to have the first course of food served, followed by another 45 minute wait for the second course. The place was busy at the time, with more than one large function occuring at the same time. Not enough staff to serve at the pace where you would consider service to be acceptable. Also noticed patrons who came in after us were served first. This is not acceptable, especially having waited over an hour for food.
  
  Serving staff are not to blame however - management should learn that running a business means that sometimes you shouldn't bite off more than you can chew (i.e. don't accept multiple functions in the same day and at the same time if you can't handle the pace - it will affect your quality of service.)

  Everything a great restaurant should be.
  
  Amazingly accommodating ans personae staff, consistently exceptional food and a bustling atmosphere.
  
  Would suggest a reservation if you plan to go during peak times as the inside dining area can get pretty busy.
  
  PS You're doing yourself a disservice if you visit Martin's and don't try the grilled tiger shrimp in butter.

  Ordered the chicken, potatoes and rice for a special event. It tasted fantastic and the sauce for the chicken was oh so good. Would definitely order from here again. Great food and service.
