If I could give Bonjour Brioche a lower rating I would. I had called in advance to select which tarts I wanted boxed for my fathers up and coming birthday. The order was read back to me by the man on the phone and correctly summed up my order. The day of I drove down to pick my order up the lady on cash (owner?) was extremely unpleasant and rude. She did not greet me or give me the time of day. She handed me my boxes and I proceeded to double check the inside. The order was completely off with the exception of about 2 tarts. I asked if she could switch out the chocolate/caramel one at least as I specifically asked for that flavor not to be added. I pointed to a tart (raspberry) and asked what it was, she proceeded to reply back in an annoyed and somewhat demeaning tone that it was custard based! I did not realise there were custard raspberry tarts and almond base tarts as this was never told to me when I asked for raspberry. She seemed disgruntled and impatient. She did not apologise for the wrong order and seemed to just want me to leave. I also purchased a bottle of the salad dressing which does not taste like the original recipe. It is now just plain oil with some herbs. Thoroughly disappointed.

One of our favourite places for brunch in Toronto. The Benny makes our day on a Saturday: Two Benedicts with smoked salmon on top of a croissant covered with hollandaise sauce. Sounds common but this place really makes it delicious. The pastry is also very recommendable.

A very nice little french restaurant that gave me a little taste of Paris. I went there for a brunch. One piece of advise, make sure you have a designated driver with you if you like Mimosas as much as I do.

I understand waiting in line when there's a line or the place is completely full, but waiting in line to be seated at a table for two when there were at least 4 tables empty?? Its ridiculous. I had to stand there completely alone awkwardly for 10 minutes watching as the empty tables stayed empty until my friend came. Completely ridiculous. Couldn't even sit and get a coffee while I waited for "my party" which was me and another person. We would have occupied a table with two chairs anyway. As for the food, it was subpar. People who are raving about their pastries clearly haven't had proper pastries. Ironic since the owners are French (explains the bad service, but not the average pastries)

One of my favourite places to enjoy breakfast. Their salad dressing is a staple in my pantry and is the best salad dressing I have ever tasted. Friendly service and great food. They get very busy on weekends so good to go early and your whole table must be present to be seated. Only down side is cash only but not the end of the world for me
