  This used to have better pad thai when it was called Young Thailand. Curry is still good but will need to find a better place to get pad thai now :(

  I was regularly going to Young Thailand for a really long time with a friend and we loved it. Now that it's Anchan Thai Kitchen, the service and food quality is not as good in comparison. Still a decent restaurant, but now a little too expensive for what it is, as well as the service is horrendous. The following experience was the final straw.
  
  On this particular night the restaurant was not crowded. Maybe 1/4 to 1/3 full at the busiest of time that I was there. Our server missed part of our order. We brought it to his attention, he confirmed what we wanted, and brought the wrong order. We brought it to his attention again and it was corrected.
  
  Food arrived promptly to the table. This is why I enjoy going out for Thai. It's often quick.
  
  Our server, while we were still actively eating, came over to the table and asked if we were done and if we wanted to pack up what was left for take-away. Again, the restaurant was not crowded.
  
  He soon returned and asked us if the bill would be 1 or separate. I was still actively eating my pad thai (my dinner date was just finished however). We were really taken aback by this sudden request and firmly told him that we weren't sure yet and to please check with us later.
  
  Food is still good-sized portions and tastes good. The wrappers for the crab rangoons are a little more fried than they used to be (bad) but the filling still tastes good. Their pad thai noodles are short/chopped up, almost scrappy. They were challenging to eat with chopsticks.
  
  My friend and I will be finding a new place to have our dinner dates.
  +1 star for prompt service
  +1 star for still good portions / tasty food
  -3 stars for bad/rude service, and now overpriced

  Waited for ever to be served or asked if I wanted anything... I had questions like How they made their glass noodle. Do they put ketchup in their pad thai... was only one of 2 people so she could have approached me.... I almost left after 10.minutes. ... beer only 2 selections... crap then don't list them. Not amused. Rice is not included??? Waiting for my meal.......picky I will honesty. Very quick to table... unfortunately they gave red curry. I asked for GREEN. Annoyed. She apologetic n offered to replace it... not it's ok.. the rice came in a heart shape. Cute. Curry was good enough to recommend but not as good as others.... But there was fake crab in it instead of mussels gross. Veggies were good but I would do chicken... my only issue was the curry was bit liquidy n rice portion was enough to curry soup?? In bowl. It was tasty enough. Let's she the bill. Crap they charge for the rice.... usually that is included with the meal in EVERY other place I go to... never eating here again... but if I lived in the area I would take out....the server was pleasant though just little things like amount of rice and you paid for it with curry never again

  Tried takeout from here and LOVED IT! Very different approach to Thai food and the flavors were so strong and defined. Only thing holding me back from 5 stars is that I haven't visited the actual restaurant yet!
