  Delicious Italian chicken or veal with tomato sauce (optional) on a crusty bun, with optional toppings such as sweet bell peppers, hot jalapeno peppers, sauteed mushrooms, or cheese. The lasagna is perfect. Generous portions for a low price (only $6 for the sandwich, $1 - 1.50 for extras like peppers, mushrooms). They also have various other Italian food like cannelloni, stuffed rice balls (Arancini), chicken Cacciatore. They have a bakery section for pastries, cookies, danishes, etc. They make coffees - the Coffee Americana is delicious. There is seating at the back to eat in. They've been in business for decades, a treasure in the neighbourhood, with friendly staff offering delicious food at good value.

  Friendly place, with a warm family like environment. The pastries are pretty good, but I'd say they are quite pricey. Their cupcakes are around $2.50, I have had better for less than that price. They also sell some freshly made Italian foods, like Lasagna, veal, ricotta cannelloni, and pizza. The food is decently priced in comparison to there bakery section, and tastes good. They also sell some breads and have a small deli. Nice place to stop by if your in the area.
