- 1 / 5By Atyeo 夏Took a little effort to order because no one working there spoke English or French well enough to fully understand me. Ordered two Tom Ka Kai shrimp soups and a summer roll. I was going to order small soups but that didn't seem like an option over the phone.
Received a call after forty minutes asking for me to repeat my address because despite asking to have it repeated to me the first time, I was assured I was understood. Received the order about ten minutes later.
The order arrived with fresh shrimp chips which were a nice touch. In a fit of hunger I finished the summer rolls quickly. They were nice.
I took out the soup which was rather warm. Neither my mother nor myself enjoyed it. She barely touched hers and I couldn't force myself to drink the broth, it was quite disgusting. It tasted like it was from concentrate and wasn't watered down enough. There were about three or four large shrimp in about 500ml of broth which I fished out. I also fished out the ginger, and any other element I could eat, as they were sparse. There were inedible bamboo shoots in the broth. After removing all of the ingredients in the broth, the level of the soup in the container barely went down about a fifth. Worst Thai soup I've ever had, hands down.September 06, 2016 - 1 / 5By Mi ChanDecor looked like it could use some attention. Went in thinking to try the place for dinner but no one was there - neither customers nor staff despite waiting a few minutes. Very disappointed.July 01, 2016
