Attentive service and good wine BUT not a good choice for a romantic dinner. It was noisy, crowded (on Sunday 6 pm) and the food was incredibly overpriced. No balsamic vinegar with the bread (which was also very tough), and the food was pretty bland. Last point- they are so concerned about being authentic (menu, wines), but they played classic rock (Neil Young) all evening. If you don't have high expectations, or if you don't mind being overcharged for an average pasta dinner, go here!

    This place was bumping!

First suggestion, get a reservation as this three story (including rooftop) restaurant is very, very busy.

Wait staff was excellent and handled our party with no issues.

Drinks were good, boozy, but typical high Toronto prices.

Food was good, although nothing to write home about.

The star of this terroni location is the beautiful rooftop dining space. If you can get yourself away from the Botoxed Italian mum's dancing on the spot at the center bar, then you will have a lovely dinner outside.

My dear friend took me here for my birthday Friday night, busy but didn't wait long for a table for two. Very noisy but we were On 2nd level so not as noisy. Service was great, food was amazing. Had calamari, fig and arugula salad for appetizers and Tortoloni and pizza for the mains...all amazing. They make their pasta and dough for pizza and bread on sight! So fresh!!! Yes the beer and wine are pricey and some of the menus items as well but if you're like me and you only go out on occasion then it's with the money to enjoy quality food! I Would recommend this restaurant !

Food was really good I enjoyed it so on that note I give it 5 stars but it dropped to 1 star because of the horrible service from our waitress. I came here to celebrate my birthday which I seldom ever do anything for, and one of my friends asked if there was sprite available her response was 'okay first, we don't have any sprite' she was very rude and blunt and acted as if it was and unreasonable question. And they had ginger ale and coke asking for sprite isn't out there. She could have nicely said 'sorry we don't have that but we do have ginger ale.' We asked for water while we looked over the menu and she agin rudely said 'okay so tap water for the whole table.' And walked off, very rude and blunt like tap water is a bad thing and putting us down for wanting water instead of a fancy drink to start. Against our better judgment we gave her another chance, I know being a waitress isn't always the easiest and we thought maybe she was just having a bad day so we tried to be extra nice to her. When we ordered our food one of my friends ordered pasta and asked for a different sauce and learned the hard way about no substitutions. You don't do that that's fine but she again explained it rudely we felt as if we were bettering lectured by our mothers' it's our first time there we don't know! So when the rest of the table ordered she made it a point to tell everyone else they can't have anything extra or substitutions even though no one asked. Nor were we allowed to share among us, if someone wanted cheese in the side for their pasta they were not allowed to share with the person who had pizza. I wondered if she would have taken it away if she saw us do that? Never had I been to a restaurant where there were so many rules for eating. I get the authentic Italian angle you're going for but that waitress just sucked the fun right out. After we got our food we didn't see her for the rest of the evening until she thought we were ready to pay, seemed inconvenienced when we asked for dessert menus. There were no smiles, no 'you're welcome' when we thanked her just a rough and tough rude attitude. Even if you had a bad day you don't take it on the rest of the world especially when they are being nice to you. If they did not automatically add a gratuity she would have got nothing from us, definitely not deserved for the awful service we received. Everyone else we encountered seemed really nice though, the hostess and who looked to be the manager offered to take a photo for us we he saw us struggling to all get in the photo. I would maybe try this restaurant again and hope that was a one off but maybe not this location. Unfortunately reading other reviews it seems like rude employees is a trend.
