  This is by far the worst service a bakery could ever give. Getting started with the pricing, they gave a different pricing everytime I spoke to a different representative for the same order. The cake we ordered was by far the most expensive blunder! Being just a bakery it's sad how the cake wasn't fresh at all, it crumble as we cut it and tasted beyond horrible like it was filled with icing and expired bread. Highland farms Longos FreshCo and sadly even Walmart would definitely be a better choice even though they don't really specialize in this. When I called to complain the rep I spoke to told me that the owner would be get back to me which he never did and never even replied back to any of my emails. It just shows how he values his customers and that's how he runs his business.

  AWFUL service and AWFUL TASTING cake. I went to the Etobicoke location to order a cake for my son's birthday. The person behind the counter had absolutely no interest in serving me. And I had to pull teeth to get any information - size, colour, etc. She couldn't even show me what it would look like (really? no pictures of your product?). I asked her to look in the back to see if there was a similar cake (there was)...and I noticed at that point I could choose a trim colour. I later went on line and saw I there was an option for a design, which was never mentioned. I emailed Swirls asking about adding the stars design. They sent me a picture of a cake with stars all over it saying that's what the cake will look like...when I got the cake there were a couple stars on top, that's it. The cake itself totally crumbled when we cut it . And it the icing honestly tasted like a stick of butter with white colouring. And for $50...NEVER AGAIN. I feel like they don't have to bother with customer service or quality since there aren't many peanut free options out there.

  My boyfriend is allergic to all nuts so when we found this place it was absolutely incredible!!! The first time we did it for his mom's birthday the cake was pretty good, I really enjoyed the fondant and he only kind of liked it. I got it a second time for his birthday and then we both kind of realised it wasn't the good. There was a ridiculous amount of icing which wasn't even that good and the cake was really dry. Now if you are just going to get the cupcakes those are super delicious! And I would go back again and again for those cupcakes.

  Every year I buy cupcakes and family celebration cakes from swirls. But this year by far has been the utmost worst experience ever. I called them to request a cake for a one year old party. Pink frosting, princess style cake. I arrive to pick up the cake pay for it and leave without really looking at it.
  
  After getting home and bringing the cake out to sing and celebrate the birthday we noticed many small balls on the top of the cake. (BIG CHOKING hazard for a one year old) I had to individually pick every lil bead off the cake before serving. On top of that that cake was purple when pink was the birthday theme.
  
  Also the cake had very thick fondue and the cake wasn't liked taste wise by any of the children all complaining about the frosting not tasting right.. poor kids.. I thought to my self well at least it looked pretty 65$ later for cake that was thrown straight in the garbage.
  
  I called back twice to be told that management would call me back but till this day I have not received a phone call from anyone. This was 1 month ago now.
  
  I'm very disappointed in the customer service I've received on this occasion.

  Worst customer service. Tried placing a cupcake order - their website says they deliver in the GTA but they couldn't accommodate - I offered to pick up and they made excuses to not take my order. They were not helpful at all. I'm very disappointed and would not recommend this place. There are however quite a few other amazing cupcake locations in the area that have amazing customer service and delicious cupcakes.
