  Really nice place, felt a bit like I was on the set of Corrie. Fish and chips were excellent. We were there on a busy day so the dining area did feel a bit cramped but the friendly atmosphere definitely made up for it.

  Best fish & chips I've had in Toronto. Also features classic Scottish items like haggis and deep fried MaRS bars. The low-rent golf theme and laminated menu/placemats just add to the authenticity.

  Classic Scarborough tradition! You can't get any better than deep fried goodness in this place. I dare you to find a item on the menu that isn't deep fried!

  The food is great but BRING YOUR OWN LEMON because when we were there we were told they were running out and didn't have enough for our fish and water; we had to go to the variety store next door and buy our own. They also had to go out and get ice; very disorganized.

  I've been going here for ages. The food ranges from 4-5/5 depending on time, how busy it is. The decor reminds me of a mix between a club house from the late 80s and a Legion Hall. The staff is always a delight.
  
  I'm partial to the pickled beats.
  
  Closed Sundays (a fact which I've forgotten on many enthusiastic Sunday morns), and their hours are a bit odd.
