  This is a great place for all ages. I wouldn't suggest keeping kids here too late as alcohol is served, but otherwise great. There are games for everyone, creative drinks and food options ranging from snacks to meal size. Great for friends, families and dates. Sadly, it's great enough that it's usually packed and hard to get into.

  Great experience! Brought my young cousins here and the variety of games is just heaven for them.
  Kid-friendly! My 9 year old cousin is with us. She plays jenga while we play cards against humanity.
  $6 admission fee per person

  I've been to several board game cafes and this was my best experience by far. Lots of seating (though it's popular, so it was filling up later in the day), great selection of games, decent food choices and quality. But mostly, the staff were the friendliest and most helpful of any board games cafe I've been to. They checked on us regularly for food, drinks, and advice for picking board games and helping us learn the rules. Overall we had an amazing afternoon there.

  Went here with a few friends on a weekday night. The place was very busy and we had to wait for close to half an hour but they were very pleasant, took our number and called us when a table was free. The game selection is huge and they are all really interesting, the ranking system based on difficulty to play makes it easy to pick a appropriate game.
  
  There was a large food and drink menu, I ordered a pint which was standard and a friend ordered a mixed drink which looked amazing but was not exceptional. My friend ordered a cookie which took forever to come and then they didn't have it in the end.
  
  Overall the waiter was better at explaining games then being a waiter. Great place to play games that is also a decent cafe.

  The OG Snakes & Lattes. Usually busy and very homey, especially relative to the shiny, brighter, and more open College location.
  
  Between the two, I prefer the College location in almost every facet, down to the fact that there are more washrooms at College. But there's nothing wrong with the Annex location. There are still a million games and the staff still know their stuff. On top of that, it's on a street where there are plenty of restaurants and stores you can visit before/after Snakes.
  
  If you love board games, this is pretty much the place to go.
