  Pizza was amazing and proportions and service was excellent. I've had similar quality for cheaper prices but generally I'd recommend it.

  Went to this restaurant with a friend for the first time this past Wednesday. Although I had walked by the place on many occasions had not dined there. Anyway, to make a long story short, I'd give Sempre TWO THUMBS UP! Excellent food & terrific service!

  Sempre is actually my favorite Italian on the Kingsway. Best balance of class and friendliness and price. There are several place whose food is probably better, but I don't feel comfortable the same way I do at Sempre.
  
  Their plates are relatively static, meaning they stick to what works and use the best ingredients possible. The kitchen is visible at the back, and is generally a three-person operation, plus 2 waitresses. You won't find many flashy one-time Chef's creations, but what you will find is delicious and well prepared and delivered with a smile.
  
  This is an excellent choice for a family meal, or a nice dinner with the wife.

  We went there when the Taste of the Kingsway was on. I had the pizza and it was fantastic. My GF had the cream of broccoli soup, and a chicken salad. She said both were great. The price was reasonable, and the service was great as well.
