  Lovely server, great location, but really weak food. The menu shows promise with fresh, contemporary offerings, but the execution is really quite poor. I've honestly had better sandwiches and wraps at grocery store food counters. Too bad, because our server was polite, eager, and professional and we liked the outdoor patio space. Would not recommend.

  I've been here many times as it is very close to home. It is a cozy little restaurant, great for those cold winter nights when you don't feel like cooking. The wait staff was very cordial and professional. The presentation of the food is excellent, I can tell that there are well trained staff in the back. There are some excellent dishes but some that fall a little flat with trial and error you will find your favorites. I tend to stick to the seafood which is really great!

  The location is great and the decor/vibe of the restaurant is relaxed but stylish. The food was just ok, it wasn't bad but it wasn't great. Pretty much just your basic Italian fare, I love Italian food and have no problem with the basics but you have to do them well. For the price I didn't think the food was worth it. I can name about five other Italian places in the west end that are cheaper or around the same price point and better quality. Our waitress seemed to be in a bad mood, she wasn't really welcoming or helpful. We asked her what she would recommend for a main and she just told us everything was good and to order whatever we want. It seemed like a chore for her to serve us which left us feeling awkward and unwelcome. The manager or owner did come out to welcome us and ask about our meal which was really nice of him. Overall this place has so much potential to be a destination after a day at the beach or a stop during a walk along the waterfront but the food and service need work.
