Reviews about Raca Café & Bar
- 1 / 5By Gil GorodisherHorrible experience. Waited nearly an hour in a place that wasn't busy at all. Paid over $20 for a greasy plate of food drenched in oil. Couldn't even get the coffee right. Avoid at all costs.January 25, 2017
- 5 / 5By Aaron SuttonFood was delicious, cocktails excellent, and service fantastic. Outdoor patio was cute and romantic. Chef was extremely friendly when there was a minor mistake with the order. Would certainly go back. Pricey, but worth it.January 20, 2017
- 1 / 5By Adrian DumitriuAt $16 for a breakfast plate I was expecting the world. 20 minutes after we placed the order we are informed that they are out of salmon, food took almost 45 minutes and the place was not that busy. First bite I took out of the chorizo almost made me regurgitate everything I ate the night before and completely killed my appetite. The entire meal, including bread, was drenched in oil and the coffee was also bad.September 11, 2016
- 5 / 5By Anna KaniaSo glad we found this place coming home from shopping yesterday. Initially we only planned to drink some coffee, rest a little bit and then go straight home. But when we got the menu, we immediately changed our mind :) We ordered white asparagus soup and watercress salad as starter and ricotta gnocchi as main dish. The soup had in my opinion too much cream and unfortunately a barely noticeable flavour of asparagus - I hadn't ask before ordering and thought it would be more like a purée soup. But it still was okay (tasted way better with the delicious bread they offer) and I think it's only the matter of opinion. On the other hand, the salad was a big surprise - million percent of deliciousness - the cook should receive a gold medal for making such unpopular veggies like watercress and fennel taste so attractive. This only proves my belief that there is no such thing like tasteless/disgusting veggies - it's only the matter of how you prepare them or what other veggies you combine them with. The main dish was delicious, as well - with the right tone of spiciness, lots of real tomato sauce and soft gnocchi. Raca is now the new favourite place to eat real food during our outings to Roncesvalles Village.August 31, 2016
