  The food was great and the place is very cozy. They were a few kids when I went, but because of the way the tables are set up, I had enough privacy to share a romantic diner with my girlfriend. Our server was very friendly too!

  Nostalgic slice of old Toronto! The garlic butter is life changing, seriously! Great ambiance, it's not fine dining but the food is quite good. Our waiter was not very sociable but he was quick to get us drinks and whatever else we asked for. He even comped our appetizer when one of our dishes was delivered accidentally to another table. Great experience if you have kids and reasonable value for your money.

  A classic venue in Toronto, especially with kids. Very family friendly. Quick service. Cool decor. And the food is far better than you would expect from a restaurant that caters to this crows. Chicken parmesan was actually really good. Reasonably priced as well.

  Not my first time here and this was my second consecutive "bad experience".
  
  Recently went by for a buddy's birthday, and a number of us were disappointed with our dishes.
  
  Pasta was just bland as if there was little-to-no salt in the water, and to boot overcooked.
  Just a plate of mush...
  
  The chicken tasted as if it was microwaved, then tossed on the grilled for a minute.
  Just not enjoyable...
  
  And their online menu needs updating, to match what they serve you in house.
  (Why advertise things that you don't have? And if it's seasonal it should state it.)
  
  Servers know what they're doing and will try to accommodate you as best they can.
  (Can't blame them for the food)
  
  Would i come back in the future? . . .
  
  Not anytime soon....
  but I would... only to see IF it improved, and if not, the management should strongly consider making some changes and/or take greater care on who makes the food.
  
  If it improves I will definitely up the rating.

  Love this place! It is our go to for dinner as a family when attending a special event downtown. I love that we get bread, starter, main and dessert for all of us. Everyone is full and has so much fun with the atmosphere here.
