  It's not a sushi kind of restaurant but that's the strong suit of this unique fusion of Japanese and Western style dishes. Every dish was delicious in its flavours; beautiful presentation. Service can be very slow, but the food is worth the wait. There were no booster seats or high chairs so we had to improvise with our stroller. All in all, chef Nobu's warm and friendly personality make the restaurant feel like a long time neighbourhood fixture in a small town, and you feel like a regular - even on your first coming experience! I felt like I was in Japan so much so I added an AE86 in this photo.

  One of the best ramen places I've ever tried. The only downside is we waited quite a while to receive our food since there was only one person working there. Regardless, it was worth the wait!

  Amazing Japanese eats here. Very cozy environment and a friendly owner. He's a one man show, so please be patient. The wait is well worth it. Nobu will take care of your hungry stomach, I promise you!

  Great little authentic Japanese eatery. The staff are incredibly friendly and, despite the modest menu, the food is outstanding. Best takoyaki in all of the GTA. Highly recommend it!

  I have been to Nobuya twice with my husband and both times the food was nothing short of exceptional. Definitely one of the top Japanese restaurants in the city. Yes, there is a bit of wait for your food since it's a one man show but it's more than worth it. We especially enjoyed the octopus balls, ramen, and seafood pancake with yakisoba noodles. Highly recommended!!!
