  This store is great for cake supplies and the staff is knowledgeable. However i hate i have to wait 10 + minutes each time to check out even if theres just one person in front of me.

  Honestly amazing. Many thanks to the staff for helping with our custom order of cake, cupcakes, and cake pops. I came in with a photo and some changes, and they met and exceeded every expectation. Extra thanks to everyone who helped.

  no matter what you choose, when you are at this place - so much time will be spent at the cashier. printer does not work or entering every item manually etc etc fix it.

  Took a class for the first time today at McCalls and honestly was really looking forward to it all week.
  
  The whole experince really put me off going back as one of the instructors (Laura, I believe) made me so uncomfortable. Throughout the whole entire day she just kept coming up to me and making extremely negative feedback about my progress to the point I was just jumpy by mid afternoon as she kept on coming up behind me and saying I was doing something wrong.
  
  I was up at the stove stiring my chocolate with a wooden spoon which I purposely chose because I dont like using silicon spatulas when Im working with anything heated. She yelled accross the room to tell me that it was wrong and I needed to go grab a spatula. I have tempered chocolate many times and I know a wooden spoon vs spatula doesnt make a difference. 2 minutes later Kay the other instructor told everyone when stiring hot things you should use a wooden spoon.
  
  I mean the whole day was like this Kay would instruct one thing and 2 minutes later I would see Laura grill another student and say "why are you doing that??".
  
  Anyways, it was extremely unpleasent!! I asked another student if Laura was always a part of every class and she said yes. I will not be coming back.
  It made me feel super uncomfortable and I was extemely nervous and exhausted by the end of the day. This is supposed to be a fun baking class not pick on every amature baker for 7 damn hrs.
