Reasonably good produce. Sale prices largely limited to bulk/multi-buys only; therefore, difficult for single persons and smaller households to enjoy any savings, IMO.

Great staff with good food selection. Organic produce is sometimes scarce, so it's hard to shop. Prices are ok, comparable to other similar chains in that location. Good deli options if you want to buy a quick meal. Easy to park.

By far, one of the most unorganized places I've ever worked. The night clerk supervisor pushes more work on ppl and tells them to hurry up so she doesn't have to spread. And when she comes to give you what should be constructive criticism, she starts by blaming someone else "Julie said your isle hasn't been fully faced," the words nvr come from her, they only ever come from someone else first. If theres a stressful shift coming up, shell take that night off. Bottom line, she is not qualified to be supervisor when she doesn't even have the balls to give you constructive criticism. She became supervisor cuz she knew she could do less and get paid more. Then they accuse ppl of not showing up for shifts when it's either their flawed call-in system or they switch the schedule last minute and not tell anyone. I quit over 3 weeks ago. I still have not gotten my r.o.e. or my vacation pay (weekly pay so they had 3 chances to pay me) and when I call speak to them they blame it on someone else (wonder where the supervisor got it from?). I spoke to Julie on tuesday (3 weeks after I quit) and she said she has no idea why I didnt receive it as of yet, and then speaking to the book keeper a couple days later I found out Julie didnt file the paper work til after I spoke with her on tuesday. I would say they're just mad cuz I quit and theyre short staffed (cuz lots of ppl left recently)2 but when I started at loblaws, they missed my first 3 pay cheques cuz "I wasn't in the system properly," so they just don't have anything together there. No wonder the staff think think the place is a joke and everyone leaves. They should lead by example and treat the staff like theyre needed. Another step in the right direction would be finding an actual leader to lead the crew instead of someone thats only there to pass messages and go sit in the back all night.
Update: finally got my r.o.e. dated today when I was told by the book keeper she finished it over a week ago.
If anyone ever decides to work there, treat it like the joke it is. And dont trust any of the management cuz theyre all liars

I have been shopping at that location since it first opened. Yes, it is much more expensive now than it used to be. For the savvy consumer, do your homework and price check. I try and get items weekly in order to get the best possible prices. Although the staff is no longer as courteous nor as helpful as they were some 18 years ago, I can always count on management if there is an issue. The customer experience can be better during off peak hours. Since PC first introduced their products, I was hooked. Again, if money is an issue, shop only for the items on sale or reduced. Just check the expiration dates to determine if it is worth the purchase.
