  Schnitzel, schnitzel, Käsespätzle and more schnitzel. Not that I'm complaining - their schnitzel is excellent, but don't look for variety here - this place specializes in one thing only.
  
  The place is very small, and can feel crowded if you're not alone. Service is friendly. Prices are above the norm for the area. Parking is usually not a problem.

  German food prepared by a chef with master training and real experience in Germany. Yes Schnitzel figures prominently, but there are other main course dishes. Good value for generous portions. Family owned and run. Austrian guests during a recent visit pronounced the Schnitzel Cordon bleu “excellent”. High kitsch decor with German folk music playing.

  This restaurant is located in a sketchy plaza. The interior was quaint and full of character (although the Christmas decorations could have been put away). The portions are generous, but not oveirly flavourful. Salad was awful. Very inattentive wait staff. Stemware came with lipstick stain. It was stifling hot inside. It was a relief to leave and get fresh air, and we were pleased to find the unsavoury loitering element did not burglarize our car.

  Very happy! We have been coming here for years. The people who run this restaurant have been doing it the same way for years. They serve a nice variety of Authentic German meals. Generous portion sizes, with a nice selection of German/Austrian beers as well.

  I have been coming here for years and it is always consistently an excellent experience. The portions are huge and a great value for your money and everything is made fresh to order. The schnitzel is huge and always made fresh. By far the best schnitzel I have had in the GTA. This tiny little place in a grungy little plaza is truly a hidden gem. Many probably drive by it all the time on Markham road and have never even noticed it but I recommend giving them a try and you will definitely be impressed!
