  This is my favorite coffee place in this part of town. Apart from the excellent coffee itself, I am fond of the faintly European flair of the place, with a pastry-stuffed antique car parked right inside the cafe. The place is also more multi-faceted than your typical coffee place. Apart from coffee, they have excellent freshly-prepared juice mixes, there is a small selection of alcoholic beverages, as well as a decently sized lunch menu, and of course, a selection of pastries. There is a table service in one part of the place, but you can also order at the bar and run off, or sit in an unattended section for a leisurely read.

  Good coffee and good casual food. Very nice ambience. Maybe a little on the pricey side, specially the drinks. But one of favorite cafes downtown for sure.

  Very disappointed regular customer. I frequent bar mercurio every week and was very disappointed in the food they served today. I got a croissant and it was very evident that they did not make it in house but probably just took one from Costco and sold it for 3$. They also charged me over $3 for a small green tea. I don't know if they're trying to cut down on cost or something but if I pay over $6 for a tea and a croissant I'd hope it's not something I can buy for $1.50 at Costco

  The food is good and the atmosphere is nice. Their outdoor patio in summer is really great! Even after going there many times, it's still confusing about seating; sometimes I'm asked if I'd like to sit, sometimes there's no hostess and you kind of seat yourself. Price point for quality of food is reasonable. It's a really convenient location if you're around the university campus too.

  Good food and fresh juices. The staff behind the counter are great but the waitresses seating you and running around to the tables will not get any awards for friendliness...
