  While they may not have the size of some larger cheese shops, there is always something to expand your horizons here. Get there early for the croissants as they go quickly.

  Hubby and I dropped in to try out few cheese favs and he ended up sharing his grilled cheese sandwich - no meat. The gentleman assured him no meat. Guess he wanted to use up something already made up - it had super spicy salami and cheese. Was so sick I won't be back. Hope the cheese we bought is ok.

  It's a cute store, but far too often they are out of essential items, like cream cheese. If they did a better job stocking up / ordering stuff, it would be quite lovely.

  was recently there after being away for a year, the place seems to have a new vibe, the fridges are full of nice delights and what i counted was over 100 cheese varieties, im def going back more often.

  I'm definitely not one of those people that swears by "the little local shops" and hates on the Loblaws' of the world, but when it comes to getting my cheese, there's only the Leslieville Cheese Market for me. For two reasons:
  
  First, it's not necessarily a matter of the cheese selection itself (which might sound like a weird thing to say when giving a cheese shop 5 stars), but it's about the staff's knowledge and assistance in navigating the cheese selection. Most of the time, I don't even bother going in knowing exactly what I want because I know the staff is going to figure out exactly what I want (even if I didn't realize it myself!). My favourite thing to do is go in and ask for "something interesting". I've yet to be disappointed with anything they give me. Plus, they'll eagerly offer you samples so you can get a sense of what you're getting.
  
  Our cheese plates are always the star of any evening because we rely on the expertise and guidance of the staff here.
  
  Second, the cheesecake. They offer this cheesecake in a little plastic container.. it's to die for.
