  I've been here for multiple events, from birthday gatherings, first dates, catching up with old friends and co-workers. Each time I've gone the food has been superb, the waiting staff has been efficient and amicable. The selection of drinks is great and can match your palate to whatever meal you will be choosing. I've tried everything from their crepes, to sandwiches and seafood, all which has been great. I'd recommend coming here if you have a taste of good french cuisine.

  After reading reviews about Le Papillon, I was excited to take my mom here for mothers day. However, it was rather disappointing. They sat us right by the door as we were the first reservation for the evening. We requested something not near the door, and then they sat 3 of us at a table for 2 and added a chair on the end of the table, when there was the whole restaurant.....and more tables. The host was not accommodating and claimed the restaurant would be packed for Mothers day. We left in an hour and it was not packed, and wouldn't have been a problem moving tables in the first place. The food was ok, but nothing over the top that I enjoyed or would go back for. Customer service was a huge turn off.

  Great location, atmosphere and food! Crepes were fantastic once again, and yes, we'll return! I recommend the Crepe St Laurent with apple, bacon and cheddar, with a side of maple syrup. The crepe is s good size and they don't skimp on the bacon either! I think the prices are quite reasonable for the crepes ($15+) , but I know the mains were getting closer to $30 - Coming in, we were welcomed immediately at the door and seated. The restaurant was only about 1/3 full on 5:30 pm Sun. We had a game to get to so we ordered immediately and told our French speaking waitress Marie that we were in a bit of a rush. Unfortunately, this is not a place where you want to rush through dinner, but we'll just have to come back. It has beautiful decor and fits in perfectly next to the St. Lawrence market and area. Regardless, our crepes came out within 10 min. Wow! Thanks Marie and kitchen! Nice private single washrooms. Nice double layered entry doors that reduce drafts so it's actually nice sitting at the front by the windows even in winter. TIP: Parking is just OK as you would expect down there on Front St., but we always park underground just across the street on the east side of St. Lawrence market.

  Le Papillon may not be "trendy", but I have only had great experiences through the years. The servers are friendly and professional, the atmosphere is warm and relaxed, and the food is so tasty. The Crepe St Laurent (bacon, cheddar, apple) is a favourite of mine.

  Just got home after having dinner at this gem of a restaurant in Toronto! The food was delicious, and the ambience was exquisite. And our waiter, Janik was fascinating. He took such good care of me and my dinner guest. We enjoyed our chat with him. He is an intelligent and authentic human being. All around this restaurant is a class act. Highly recommend it and can't wait to go back! Thank you Le Papillon :)
