  L'Avenue is probably my favourite restaurant in the city, perfect blend of atmosphere, service and quality of food.
  
  The beef bourguignon is my favourite, fatty and tasty and savoury. If you can get it, the bone marrow is also heavenly.
  
  Great wine list, but I'm not an oenophile. I've liked everything I've had so far!
  
  In short: fantastic spot for a special evening with a special person.

  A very cute spot for a romantic date. The mussels were amazing and one of the best I've had in a while. The steak was tasty too but slightly over-seasoned with herbs so it got too salty after eating about half of it. The bread and butter was good as well. Service was also excellent.

  L’Avenue is a smallish, charming bistro that serves up delicious French Cuisine. Great way to spend a romantic evening or a lovely place to enjoy with friends. There is also a tiny patio for warmer weather. Good wine selection and yummy desserts. Staff is friendly and the service is excellent.

  The food is incredible, the wait staff is very friendly and helpful. I've been both to brunch and dinner - their wine pairings are always spot-on. I'm pretty sure they even make their own butter, it tastes so fresh.

  Clean, elegant and good customer service. It's ideal for a light meal but NOT with a large group. I recommend the burger.
