  First time officially eating Ethiopian cuisine. Chose to come her over Nazareth as it was a cold spring day and we wanted to experience the coffee ceremony.
  
  The food was great, the beef was a bit over cooked, but, overall no complaints with the quality and quantity.
  
  I believe it was somewhat over priced and was very disspointed that "the person" that makes the coffee wasn't there. It was 5:00 pm on a Saturday.
  
  Considering that was one of the deciding factors over Nazareth and knowing the price was a bit more here - I was disappointed.
  
  Overall, reasonably friendly staff, delicious food, price on the higher end.

  Service great, staff friendly and the food speaks for itself. Only issue we eat on the lounge side when the restaurant is pack, and the music is just way to loud. Like you cannot have a conversation with the person right beside you.

  I arrived with 5 friends for a dinner at Lalibela. The restaurant is clean and decorated with lamps and paintings from Ethiopia. The servers were both from Ethiopia and had great friendly smiles. Ordering the food we needed some help, but the good thing is that Ethiopian food is meant to be shared with friends. So, the food came and it was truly a new experience for me and my friends. Loved the food and the service, left a nice tip.

  This is a really good place to go to if you are not in rush. It's a good place for a date as you will have much time to talk about before food is ready. The menu is posted online so you can order and do reservation in advance.
  It is a tradition to eat on one big plate with a group of people and without spoon or fork ,but you can request ( not going to be easy to use them)
