  Family run business that serves up very tasty Cambodian food. No it is not Thai food. It is Cambodian despite having Thai in the title. Although they do make some Thai dishes, they just aren't as good as the rest.
  
  The two big favourites here are the golden beef and the green curry with bamboo shoots. The salad rolls are also made fresh and are delicious.
  
  One of the few businesses in this area that has been there for 15+ years.

  We decided to try Khmer Thai Restaurant based on the Google reviews so we ordered take out.
  
  First disappointment, no mango salad, no mango dishes, really?. Oh, well, papaya salad it is.
  
  But here's the deal breaker: I was initially advised the order would take 30-35 minutes and I agreed to wait. After 30 minutes I was told that I had to wait another 15-20 minutes which I reluctantly agreed since I had a hungry family at home I did not want to confront empty handed.
  
  After 25 minutes I asked for the order again and I was told it was ready and it would take 2 minutes, and I was presented with the total bill. I politely told them that I would pay once all the food was in front of me to which I was replied I could leave if I wanted! Seriously?
  
  Five minutes later I told them I could not wait any longer and I had to leave, to which they responded 'ok, goodbye'.
  
  I do not believe that preparing 4 dishes should take almost an hour in a small place, particularly when take out customers were coming and going and there was only one table being served by the time I left.
  
  I also believe the server could have addresed the situation with a bit more of tact, courtesy and customer appreciation.
  
  Regretfully, I did not get to taste the food, but the attitude of the staff was quite spicy.
  
  Having upset our family dinner plans, I went to another Thai place nearby to try my luck again.
  
  I do not recommend this place considering other excellent alternatives Toronto has to offer.

  Blown away!! Cambodiana and Tom Yum Main soups are the best! My first time here and I couldn't get enough, I ordered one to go.
  Small family run restaurant, simple-modest decor and delicious food! Portions for the soups are big and served as a main dish, so come with a friend and try different ones to share or have one for yourself (you may not want to share, it's that good).

  This is one of the best Thai places in Toronto, and is a must go for the foodie at heart. Great service, calm ambience, and situated in the cozy neighborhood of St Clair Ave W. I go here at least once every 2 weeks, and I love it every time.
