  Friendly service and the wings are one of the best in Toronto. Great for big parties! They can easily accommodate without the need of "reservation penalties" like in other downtown restaurants

  Booking a reservation was nice and simple. They even asked why my group was there and I said we had a show to go to for 7:30 so our server that evening was aware of that and got us out the door with good time to spare. Food was on point in terms of taste and presentation. Our server wasn't the brightest person but did their job okay. The restaurant is large so it has lots of space. It wasn't busy when we went which was on a Sunday evening.

  Terrible experience. We had reservations for a large group. Drinks took forever for the first round and we weren't asked if we wanted a second round but when we asked for more drinks they forgot to bring the drinks. Food was not served to everyone at the same time. By the time the last person was served, the first had finished their meal. We had to leave the table to find a staff member to serve us coffee and dessert. Coffee took quite awhile to be served. Don't even try to
  find out about nutritional value for items on the menu, they haven't a clue. There were very few patrons and many staff were simply just standing around. Customer service not on their radar at all but why would it be as they were guaranteed gratuities that was so generously added to our bill. If we had the option a 0 tip, that would have been more than sufficient. Overall, couldn't wait to get out of there and I will never return! This was an annual family gathering and it's highly unlikely that we will choose this location to dine in the future.

  As parents, we still love going to our favorite Jack Astors, and they always try to accommodate our request for a quieter spot, and requests to bring out our food staggered so we can make sure the kids are taken care of, yet mom and dad still get a warm dinner too. Always excellent friendly service and the food is our favorite. Thanks Jacks!

  I had called the restaurant beforehand to let them know that my reservation for 6 had changed to 7. On the phone, the hostess was very comfortable with this, and said that it was no problem and that they would add a chair. My party arrived at the restaurant and it seemed like they were confused by my reservation. The hostess was again saying it was no problem to add a chair, however another hostess came and gave an ample amount of attitude about adding a chair - she said their was absolutely no way and that now we have to wait for another table (it was 7:30 pm on a Saturday night - which is why I made a reservation). She continued to give us attitude, until the initial hostess said to just add a chair and we will be fine.
  Our food took almost an hour to come, and it came out close to cold. We were unimpressed with this as well as the starting of our night.
  We also ordered a pitcher of sangria at the beginning of our night and ordered a second, but they ran out of sangria mix. How can this be?! It is a Saturday night....it was absolutely ridiculous.
  The bar tender was the only good part of our night because she offered to make her version of a sangria.
  It was my friend's birthday and needless to say, we were unimpressed by our dining experience.
