  While they do have a varied menu including hamburgers (??), the reason you come here is for the fish and chips. The have 3-4 different fish of the day, you then chose your batter, side, and sauce. For my first visit I stuck with the standard halibut in organic batter and fries. The portion was somewhat small (though fine for me). The fish was well cooked and the fries were done just right. Definitely a solid (if not spectacular) fish'n chips. Next time I'll be more adventurous.
  
  The restaurant itself is small and casual. The service was friendly and not pushy. We didn't feel pressure to order/eat/leave at all.

  I've been going to Off the Hook every once in a while for a number of years now. It's a great little restaurant if you're looking for upscale fish and chips in a place that still feels like a bit like a dive bar. They've gotten significantly fancier of late, with market price fish and new menu additions. However, they're still reasonably priced for a dinner out, and the staff are very friendly and attentive.
  
  The biggest draw for eating here is the wide variety of homemade batters and sauces that you can order any of their fish with. This includes a gluten-free option which can also be used to batter onion rings. It's apparently extremely tasty, according to every gluten-free friend I've brought here.

  Great service and food. They have a unique selection of batter and sauces for your fish and chips. I came here on New Year's Eve and it wasn't as busy. Definitely try their fish and chips Atmosphere is cool and cozy. They have a nice selection of local beer.

  Incredible food. Had the gluten free fish and chips and left SO happy! And to top it all off, they had gluten free deep fried chocolate bars. Pure heavenly bliss. Worth every penny. Really decent gluten free beer selection too!
