  There are 3 Indian restaurants close to each other on Dundas and I've tried them all. And in my view, Spicey House is the best. For some reason, the place is never busy. But this makes it very pleasant for a quiet dinner.
  
  I've patronized this place for around 10 years and I have my preferred dishes. Cochin Chicken is fairly new on the menu and has wonderful South Indian flavours. Lamb Biryani is succulent. We had the okra last time loved it. If you order pakora for starters you will find them huge. You'll take half the order home. Others have mentioned how good the naan is, and it's true. Give this place a try.

  The ingredients are fresh, the sauces are flavourful. Channa, Subji, Dal, huge Naans are delicious to devour. The service is friendly and courteous. The atmosphere may not be hip or elegant and the food takes time to prepare but it's well worth the wait.

  Ordered from UberEats and the food was excellent. I had the butter chicken with rice, samosas and garlic naan bread. Best Indian food I ever tasted so far. I can't wait for them to reopen on Tuesday! They also give a lot of food.

  I don't know what these bad reviews are talking about!!! Literally High Park Spicy House is my go to Indian restaurant no matter where I am, it troubles me to see people writing bad reviews to PUBLICIZE their own restaurant. I too have tasted food from all 3 Indian restaurants down the street and you know what HPSH is the best. The Butter chicken is tremendous and ohmygosh the Naan is heaven on earth. If im having the meal by myself I cant finish a whole dish, like the butter chicken, there will always be left overs for the next day because of how much is given in one portion. I have ordered here for many special occasions as well as the im too lazy to cook days, Its been amazing to say the least.
