  A group of us went to Harleme Underground to celebrate a friends birthday. The service, food and atmosphere was great!!! We thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. A few of us are from Caribbean decent and the food was spot on! They had a reggae DJ from Japan playing and he was great. Definitely recommend this place for upscale Caribbean food done at its finest!
  
  I had the Guinness Chicken with Rice and Peas - Excellent!
  My friends had the roti and curry chicken - Excellent!
  
  We also had some of the ginger beer cocktails and they we good.
  
  We had a few kids too and they had mac and cheese - no complaints :)

  Came in and stood at the bar In order to be seated. Was here for about a minute made eye contact with the bartender. She never came to me lol. Screw it I sat down at a table. Waited 3 mins still no one. Ok well to the bar straight to the bartender and ordered a drink and asked for a menu. She asked if I was going to sit down LOL... told her yeah pointed to where I was just sitting... on the plus side the food was worth it. The service got better also glad I didn't leave........HAD LEFT FOUR STARS AT FIRST. Then I got home and looked at my bill... smh got over charged. The waiter changed me for the coconut rice uhm a side comes with the meal....

  A good lunch-spot if you work in the area. Service was friendly but a bit slow. The Jerk Chicken Sandwich was delicious and the sweet potato fries were fresh and cooked to perfection. Pair it with a ginger beer (alcoholic or non, depending on where you work).

  Best sweet potato fries I've ever had!! I had the chicken and waffles and it was perfect!! The staff were so sweet and I will definitely be back 10/10 would recommend
