  Not a huge food menu but it has everything you could want from a pub plus everything is hand made (even the ketchup). You also habe the option to swap any sandwich/burger meat with tofu or Portobello as a veggie friendly option. Massive whiskey menu. A cozy spot for just drinks or food.

  I was there for an event, which was absolutely lovely, but everything good about the event came from the event organizers or a third party vendor and not the venue itself.
  
  Granted, I did not have any of the liquor, so it's entirely possible that, for a bar, the liquor is exceptional and would have made up for a lot of sins that led me to give it such a low rating. In fact, they seem to have an extensive menu of whiskeys that is very popular.
  
  The space itself was completely cramped. The bar had an old-style feel to it, but mingling with others in the establishment was nearly impossible because there's almost no way to get around people. The room at the back has a lovely skylight that gave it some pleasant lighting, and there were comfortable couches there that give the room a lounge feel, but the furniture was tired and could use some refreshing.
  
  The food was also not very impressive. There was a nice selection of crackers, but the meat available was simply a plate of salami and the vegetables were limp shreds of peppers and zucchini. If I hadn't seen their food menu online, I would definitely have gotten the impression that they don't ordinarily serve food. Perhaps their a la carte menu items fare much better than their event menu.
  
  Parking is an issue, with the nearest lot a 10-12 minute walk away, but that is perhaps a good thing for a bar. However, the place is extremely accessible by streetcar, so that makes the transportation situation much more forgivable.
