First of all, the people that work here are all really friendly and genuinely kind. It makes such a difference when you feel like an actual guest in a restaurant--and all this while they are extremely busy.
Brace yourself for a line up, but I found it moved quite well for small groups of people. I was a party of 2 and we were seated within a half hour, however families of four or more were given 1 hour wait times.
I had Emma's Benny - it was phenomenal and my husband ordered the Ricotta and Lemon Blue Berry Pancakes and he loved them. The Benny is served on fresh bisquites, literally the best version I have ever had.
We missed out on the donuts and we were there before 10! Heard they are really good, so maybe order that before you order your breakfast, and get them to go. You will be too full!
Give your name when you get in so they know to call you when a tables ready, it's a little chaotic when you get in there. Worth the wait! Met a guy in line who comes from Hamilton he loves it so much.

Best eggs Benedict possible. No brunch is better than this place. Love the addition of a liquor licence. Everyone is super friendly and the food is amazing. The new location looks great, I'm just sad that I'm not as close as I used to be

I went with my friend at approximately 11 a.m. in the morning we were welcomed at the door and we were looking for a seat with the hostess the place was very crowded and we where seated at a table for two right beside the counter and the cash register so I've had a good view as to the operation of the restaurant. I ordered the blueberry pancakes with ricotta cheese my friend ordered the grits with eggs and sausage we ordered one cappuccino and one cup of tea which was limited to a small amount and was nothing unusual it was just regular black tea . the cappuccino arrived in a clear glass and was visible through it looked very inviting and was of good quality . our food arrived and was placed in front of us the portion sizes for the pancakes looks reasonable but the grits with the eggs and sausage was a much larger plate with more food. I ate the pancakes with the blueberries and ricotta cheese it was still hot and did not enjoy eating the pancakes I found them to be a bit too wet on the inside I like my pancakes well inside and not undercooked but overall the ricotta cheese on top was fantastic and I finish my whole plate. my friend was pleased with the grits eggs and sausage and he also had a freshly-made biscuit baked on the premises he told me that he enjoyed his food. I found out that he was not very well impressed but we did finish all the food. the place is very crowded it's very narrow it's a long and narrow store and most people have to sit close to each other as the tables don't have a lot of space between them while everybody was talking it created a lot of noise and we were feeling a little bit claustrophobic since there are three walls surrounding the dining area and if you go deep inside you might think that you are in a uncomfortable situation. there's not much of a view since the counter and the expresso machines the coffee and the bakery case are located in the front which is the only window in the place. I found the prices to be reasonable but a little bit on the high side for what we received overall I would say that we received a fair value for our experience . the place also lacks decorations on the walls and and the atmosphere as far as interior decorating is poor. they also do not have parking which means we had to park on st. Claire Street and put money in the meter

Waited for 30 mins for a Saturday morning. Maybe after 12 - 1 pm is a better time to dine in - you don't have to wait for too long to be sit.

I got the Biscuit and Gravy and the green of the day. The main dish is very good and filling. Taste like biscuit dip in creamy soup. The spicy sauce is my favorite, made the dish not too heavy in the end.
