Reviews about Dufflet Pastries
- 4 / 5By Christophe FriedliDufflet has some of the best tasting sweets in town, and supplies many local restaurant with their desserts and treat options. With that said, I was surprised to find out that some of their amazing desert options aren't available at this location. Not sure if they're simply out or if perhaps what they carry is different from what they cater.
All in all a great place with a cozy space at the back for eating in.May 20, 2017 - 4 / 5By Esther ScreenPretty much everything I've tried here has been good to great. I think there was only one thing, a tart I think, I didn't like. I really loved the sugar cookies and their cakes, especially the yule logs that they sell during Christmas/Winter Holidays. The food has been consistently good at all three locations. And now it's Ice cream sandwich season, yummy. That's the next thing I'm going to try.December 11, 2016
- 4 / 5By Amanda StockThe staff are very friendly and helpful. I think the pastries and cakes are a little overhyped, having had them many times now. They just have a texture of mass production to them, although they taste delicious.November 27, 2016
- 5 / 5By stephie molnarPastries are DELICIOUS. This is my families go-to place for a cake for special events. Always amazing quality. Pretty pricey but that's because of the quality.November 08, 2016
- 5 / 5By Roberta ArlidgeI have never been here or to Toronto BUT just took a bite of her brownie at McDonald's on Merivale road. I bought four yesterday not expecting much. Just made a coffee and took a bite. BUTTER? CHOCOLATE CRUNCHY? I had to sit down. You see I know quality and like it understated no fancy looking pastry can fake being the real deal. Shortbread for example is my go to cookie. REAL shortbread if you have tastebuds that will accept no substitutions then you will understand what I am trying to say. So WHERE did this humble looking brownie come from? Googled McDonald's then Googled this odd name and discovered an amazing woman. What a surprise! What a beautiful lady! With a beautiful heart and success story! What an inspiration. Your brownie will be no stranger to my cup of coffee. Thank you for the chance to discover you. At McDonald's of all places. PLEASE find a way to come to Ottawa. And in my Hintonburgh neighborhood.October 22, 2016
