  Food was good for the most part. The burger was superb, no complaints. I got the compressed watermelon appetizer to share with my friends and that was also good (hits all 5 of the basic tastes). The banana split was underwhelming. Came to the table half melted, and was basically ice cream soup. Service was borderline ok. Plates were removed at a decent pace but our water was never refilled. Might have been an off-night, but it also wasn't very busy inside.

  This restaurant is nothing but a façade. Everything looks great: from the food itself to the decor to the patio ... but then you actually taste the food and it couldn't be more disappointing. We were a group of seven and generally found that all of our meals were missing one key ingredient ... flavour. I'm baffled because they seem to have put in a decent effort on plating and presentation but just gave up on taste. It's a shame because the location is excellent. You will also leave hungry and feeling like you paid too much.

  This is a great spot to hit in the summer because of their patio. Close to the water so you feel like you're at the beach. Imagine you're sitting at a high-top table with umbrellas providing a nice shade, the server keeps your drinks flowing, music is playing and the menu's quite alright too. The best part is when you're there while there's a live band. I went on a day when they had a jazz singer - I did not want to leave, she topped the experience off very nicely.

  My girlfriend and I decided to go in to have drinks. It's a very clean, big place. By the beach, nice view of the lake. The waitress and the waiter were super nice. I would not say anything bad about them. Although the drinks we received were incredibly small. My girlfriend's drink wasn't even full, and they were both $15 each.. The waitress also asked us if we wanted tap or carbonized water. I decided to go with the carbonized water until they brought on the table a re-usable bottle where they make their own carbonized water. Bottle was dirty (for having been used before) And we got charged $5 for it. Which seems quite a lot for carbonized water they make at the restaurant. I understand they need to pay for the CO2 cylinder, but it seemed a bit excessive to charge $5 for it.
  I'm sure I will go back one day and get a difference experience. Just don't be surprised if you end up feeling like you paid too much for what you got.

  My girlfriends and I came here for the first time, and it was a great girls night. We were seated right by the windows with the beach view. The server was very friendly and helpful, but the dishes weren't cleared off promptly, and don't think the water was ever refilled. We started off with the compressed watermelon appetiser. It was so fresh, and awesome blend of flavours with sweet and salty components to it. For my main, I got the Carter's Green. A nice bowl of greens and seeds and a hint of spicyness to it. And finally had their dessert called Get in My Belly, which is their Chocolate lava cake. Once cut, the chocolate didn't come flowing out, but overall was a decent cake. But I tried my friend's sticky toffee pudding, and man it was to die for. Definitely would be getting this the next time we are there. Overall, a good experience and worth the try if you are by the beaches.
