  How can you not like this place. The menus caters to those who grew up on hearty polish food. Here you can get it "just like grandma used to make it". Food is plentiful and at a decent prices ($$$). The place can get crowded at meal time. I usually get take out when I come here and they are always friendly and expedient with my order. Street parking is available on Roncesvalles.

  Amazing food. It was our first time trying Polish food and we got 4 dishes, each of which were better than the other. Not a single complaint! Even their tomatoes and pickles were abnormally yummy. Good prices and great service as well. 100% recommend.

  I constantly recommend this place to friends saying "nothing they serve here came out of a freezer bag, it's like grandma cooked for you with special love" (even though, to be honest, I've never seen the chef). Excellent beer selection. Consistent high quality. Fair prices. Dinner portions are large enough to save some for lunch the next day, but I always clean my plate. Wish I could give a 10 star rating instead of just 5.

  Have been there twice and am surprised at the portions for the platters... You will not leave hungry. Seriously. The soups are some of the best I have had in Toronto over the last 9 years. The white borscht is awesome.

  The price and quantity ratio is skewered more towards the higher end but it is nevertheless a good experience of Polish cuisine.
  
  The waitress that served us was pleasant. However I noticed that the owner/manager of the restaurant, the one in white and black in the photo was walking around greeting the customers. That'd be usually regarded as a nice and personable thing, and highly recommended act to do.
  
  Unfortunately the owner/manager only chose to approach the tables who were Caucasian, and actively avoided any tables who had minorities seated in there.
  
  So what was a pleasant observation that I saw, and informed my wife of, soon went downhill as I realized what was happening. It was unfortunate to say the least.
