  I was here for a work meeting. The food was just OK although I did like the Caesar salad. They also forgot my main course. Maybe they weren't equipped to deal with the 40+ people who were there for the meeting. Decor however was nice for a date place.

  We had the bad luck of eating there at the same time as two groups of ten each. The noise was deafening. Amazingly, the waiter thought that the playing of music in that situation made the noise more bearable. I should have asked him to crank it up to maximum, then.
  
  However, food and service were good. I had the cod, my wife the chicken penne. I liked her penne better than my cod. So we'll probably give the place another chance, hoping for quieter guests.
  
  The inside is pretty well the same as it was in the Trappers version, although I don't remember the chairs being so uncomfortable then.

  Had the Arugula and Cherry Tomato Salad. Added the salmon which was a great choice. Nice presentation & lots of flavour. Knowledgeable staff. Not too busy, but was perfect for our business meeting.

  Excellent food and excellent atmosphere! Went with a group of 6 for a birthday party and everyone loved their food. I had the salmon that was seasoned perfectly as well as the Caesar salad which was the best I have ever had. Definitely recommend this restaurant for small or large groups. Will be returning soon!

  What a great place! We had a family dinner at BlacKod last night. My husband had a steak grilled to perfection. I had a delicious pasta dish. The appetizers, fried calamari and the grill scallops on a bed of arugula and bacon bite was amazing. the service was excellent, we will make this restaurant our favorite. Can't wait to go back.
