  A great community fixture! Nice vibe, lots of seating inside & out. Good service and healthy (limited) menu, many options that aren't filled with sugar. 4 stars because the coffee/ espresso is always overly dark for my taste.

  A very nice place for a rest on my cycling trip from Toronto. Nice brews, scones and cookies. With soup empenadas and sandwiches you cannot even have lunch here. Relax in the comfy chairs inside or the terrace outside. I can recommend!

  I dislike being poured a coffee with 2-3 oz missing from the top to leave room for "milk/cream". I want my full cup of coffee every time especially at $2 for 12oz. This is my regular experience here.
  I find the food portions stingy, some of the servers passive aggressive and I do not agree with the comments about the "community" feel. Perhaps for their long time regulars, I see those people treated differently than I am. It starts to feel personal...I overheard a comment to a lady picking up her wrap just after ordering mine..."I put some extra lettuce in it for you" (really?) but mine remained of *normal* lettuce portions.. and very over priced for the portion. So it's THAT kind of place. Like a country club feel..and I'm not a member.
  
  Coffee & quality is good though so I guess that's all that's important in the end, but the excessive compliments on this place being a "great community vibe" are not warranted in my opinion.

  Love this place! It's so cozy inside. The coffee and treats are great, especially the home made scones. They also have a lovely patio in the back which overlooks a small park next to Lake Ontario. I'll be coming back here for sure!

  I don't like giving bad reviews but this place earned it. I bought a muffin the was burned and dry, and was charged $2.25 for a cup of hot water. They insisted that I pay for it as though it was tea - I have never encountered this before. I will not go back.
