  My favourite chain restaurant and this is my favourite location. Been going here for years. They have a few servers who have been there for many years. They are great at serving and remembering regular customers. Always good experience here and good food.

  Rude delivery driver, called from the lobby told me to come get my food. I inquired why he can't bring to my apartment since that's what most drivers do and he refuses! Then I say I'd be down in a few since I now have to dress my 1 year old and 3 year old to walk down with me and the driver left before I was downstairs. I called and was told they'd re enter my order and I'd have it asap well I again waited over an hour for my food with 2 very hungry kids and the driver gives me my food doesn't say a word to me and drives off.

  It's relatively fast for a full service restaurant. Swiss chalet has improved over the years and has a lot of menu choices, plus there's usually some seasonal special on. If you are not happy with your food for whatever reason.. (cold, wrong,...) The staff has no problem with bringing you another plate. Now I know that that is the proper thing to do for an unhappy customer., But most places now a days give you attitude. Swiss chalet doesn't.

  Service was pretty tragic. The food was good, no better or worse than you'd expect from any Swiss Chalet. Granted, the mac & cheese included with my crispy chicken dinner was a surprisingly small and soupy serving, easily a third of the portion of fries.
  
  As for the service, every server I saw (three) was extremely quiet and slow, clearly no energy or enthusiasm.
  I know there isn't much to be excited about working lunch hours on a Wednesday, but with a job in customer interaction you could at least pretend to care.
  Our server paid little attention to us, communicated barely past a mumble, and hardly said a word when it came time to pay. We had to request twice for our bill to be divided correctly, and then request again for a machine for us to pay with.
  
  I'll say again, It's Swiss Chalet. The food is on par with Swiss Chalet. If you're going for takeout, go ahead - but don't expect even a half-assed smile if you plan on dining in.
